Experimental Cooling Development
Completed
The project team and participating students undertook experimental development of cooling solutions suitable for integration into the proposed solar-powered community facility. Initial investigations considered low-energy cooling approaches, including Peltier-based systems and a DC-compressor configuration, as part of the technical and student research activities.
Early-stage prototyping demonstrated the importance of validating laboratory-scale concepts against real community operating requirements before committing to full deployment. The exercise also provided valuable hands-on research and engineering experience for participating students.
